JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities.

  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.

  • Take ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business.

  • Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth.

  • Working to stringent targets, the job holder will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business call.

  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Branding Development

  • Become the face of our brand
  • Plan, strategies and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market
  • Define product strategies and road maps
  • Research and determine product weaknesses and areas to be modified
  • Develop sales tools and collateral's
  • Develop effective product positioning in the market
  • Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development
  • Brief and train sales personnel
  • Launch and oversee advertising and media planning
  • Coordinate activities of specialists involved in the brand positioning of the products
  • Undertake package development strategies.
  • Promote the AVIALITE brand with passion and professionalism
  • Help increase brand identity and brand awareness among customers and partners

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • University degree or at least 8 year work experience

  • To undertake any reasonable duties, suitable to the level of the post so as to ensure the smooth running of the project

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in working with management to align sales strategies and solutions
  • Must have experience of working in a corporate / business focused environment
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of succesfully pitching for new business
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
  • Ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Flexibility and patience
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organize vast amounts of data
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task several priorities
  • Possess solid time management skill
  • Strong technical ability, dexterity and agility
  • Capable of working the entire MS Office suite or OpenOffice, especially Excel or OpenOffice Calc and ERP system
